I guess all good things must come to an end, but I am disappointed that I have now bowed out of the Embellish It competition at Scrap 'n Craft with T. I thought my LO was ok (I know it probably wasn't my best, best, best work), but I thought under the circumstances, it was alright.
I even thought I might get a little latitude (read sympathy)...obviously not. Oh well, thems the breaks.
Considering that school is starting up again, I'm not sure I will continue with the second chance section, as I just can't see myself having the time. So well done to those continuing on, and best of luck to all.
And I just can't seem to win at the moment health wise. For those who don't know...I have a rare blood clotting disorder, and had a DVT and PE in 2003. I took blood thinners until 2008, and was traveling along just fine, up until the week before the school holidays. I was diagnosed with another clot, but at least this time, not a DVT, but a really large one (20cm) in my superficial vein. So I have spent most of my holidays in and out of the Dr's, getting my warfarin levels tested and stabilised, but to top it all off, it now looks like I might have internal bleeding in my knees ??? (It can happen sometimes when you're on thinners).
I guess I just didn't need anymore bad news today...

oh Michelle, bugger about not getting thru to the next round. I do so hope you are feeling better with your knee - and other ailments - and that they sort out exactly what the problem is soon. Take care of you
